La Union Child Development Workers & Service Providers’ 5th Provincial Convention Conducted

Over 500 participants attend the La Union Child Development Workers & Service Providers’ 5th Provincial Convention on April 3-5, 2019 at Hotel Supreme Convention Plaza, Baguio City. Sangguniang Bayan Members, Punong Barangays, Barangay Kagawads, Local Social Welfare & Development Officers, Child Development Workers, Barangay Secretaries, and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office staff joined the activity. The event aims to strengthen the commitment of Barangay Councils for the Protection of Children (BCPC). The activity updated the BCPC members of the new laws and programs of the government especially on the rights of children on survival, protection, development and participation.
