La Union Bagged 7th place in Local Collection Efficiency, National Level

Molina receives the Certificate of Achievement from Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) for the Province of La Union which ranked 7th out the 81 provinces in the Philippines for Local Collection Efficiency at the Hotel Supreme, Baguio City on June 24, 2019.
The Province of La Union ranked 7th out the 81 provinces in the Philippines for Local Collection Efficiency given by the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) at the Hotel Supreme, Baguio City on June 24, 2019.
OIC-Assistant Provincial Treasurer Janet D. Molina received the Certificate of Achievement from BLGF for the province during the Second Quarter Regional Conference of Provincial, City, and Municipal Treasurers and Assessors.
As per evaluation made on the collection performance of La Union and the performance targets set by the BLGF for Fiscal Year 2017, the province had a 110.1% Collection Efficiency on Real Property Tax (RPT) and ranked third in the region, 87.7% Collection Efficiency on Local Business Tax (LBT) and ranked fourth in the region, 156.4% Collection Efficiency on Fees and Charges(FC) and ranked as second in the region, 184.3% Collection Efficiency on Receipts from Economic Enterprise (REE) and ranked first in the region.
La Union garnered a rate of 133.9% in the overall total ranking from all the Locally Sourced Income making the Province Top 1 in the Region and Top 7 in the national level
