KaPROBINSYAnihan Mathlete Bags Bronze in World Math Olympiad

KaPROBINSYAnihan Math wizard Julius Patrick Gorospe of Luna National High School proudly waved the banner of La Union and our country as he brought home a bronze medal from the World International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO) Finals 2023 at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on January 6-7, 2024.

Prior to his triumph, the Grade 7 learner has secured gold in the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad, Philippine International Mathematical Olympiad (PhIMO) and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad held last year that qualified him in the global competition.

The Provincial Government of La Union led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica "Rafy" Ortega-David proudly commends the remarkable feat of Gorospe in the international stage that brought pride and inspiration to the kaPROBINSYAnihan. The achievement of Gorospe is a manifestation of his commitment to embody excellence and determination in any competition that defines the greatness of kaPROBINSYAnihan.
