Kaprobinsiaan Clinch Gold in Nat'l Choral Competition

Competing with 13 choirs all over the country, kaprobinsiaan who are members of the Camerata College Choir of the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-South La Union Campus emerged as Champion in the "Sing! Tarlac Sing! National Choral Festival and Competition" held at the Kaisa Convention Hall in Tarlac City on July 15-16, 2023.

Showcasing their exceptional vocal prowess, the La Union-based choir group bested others as their voice united in harmony and passion that steered them through resounding victory. Camerata's winning piece included Agoo's folk song entitled "Aribai" and the choral rendition of the tribal chants of the Bago Tribe titled “Danggayan”.

The Provincial Government of La Union under the leadership of Gov. Rafy Ortega-David recognizes the outstanding feat of Camerata as they effectively represented the province through their vibrant talent while displaying their commitment to preserve La Union's rich identity and culture. This remarkable achievement is a testament that La Union is the powerhouse of Champions and talented individuals.
