Representing Gov. Francisco Emmanuel โ€œPacoyโ€ R. Ortega III, La Union Provincial Tourism Office (LUPTO) Officer-in-Charge Arthur S. Cortez, Jr., served as one of the panelists to the 9th Virtual Presentation โ€œKapihan sa New Yorkโ€ (Fiesta Filipinas Part 2) presented by the Fil-Am Press Club of New York, Philippine Consulate General - New York, Philippine Department of Tourism - New York, Philippine Airlines, and Orientours Co., Ltd. on July 28, 2021 via video conferencing.

In his presentation, he highlighted the Province of La Union as a province worth living in to diverse people and communities, stemming from its unique experiences that created a culture of acceptance and tolerance. He shared that La Union as a province is also a tourist-friendly destination as it continues to host a wide array of places, faces, and activities which caters to the desires of tourists.

Mr. Cortez also mentioned that apart from the scenic places and cheerful faces, La Union boasts to be an investment haven. He shared La Unionโ€™s rich culture and heritage, as well as its unique gastronomic offerings. As a province formed from the union of ceded lands from its neighboring provinces, La Union has a particular mix of traditions and dishes which genuinely represents Ilocandia.

He assures the Filipino-American community that they can not only invest in the province but also can always Live, Own, Visit, Enjoy and find LOVE and make a home in La Union.
