GUIDELINES ON THE OBSERVANCE OF THE HOLY WEEK (SEMANA SANTA)


𝗔𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿’𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗡𝗼. 𝟯𝟰 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝟮𝟴 𝙩𝙤 𝘼𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙡 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭.
✅ 𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙖 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣?
Only VISITORS from Region I and Baguio City shall be allowed entry to the Province during the observance of Holy Week (March 28 to April 4, 2021).
✅ 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙙𝙤 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙪𝙥𝙤𝙣 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙮?
The following documents shall be presented by VISITORS:
a. Government Issued ID
b. A Negative RT-PCR Test Result issued within the last three (3) days is required for individuals coming from Baguio which remains to be under GCQ classification
c. Booking confirmation from DOT-accredited Accommodation Establishment or Travel Agency or Tour Operator
✅ 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙄 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨?
Virtual platform coverage of the Holy Week liturgies and activities are encouraged in order to minimize mass gathering and to comply with the 50% venue capacity of churches during the Holy Week.
✅ 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨?
Local Chief Executives (LCEs) from component local government units are encouraged to designate areas for coastal activities to facilitate monitoring of mass gatherings and compliance to Minimum Public Health Standard.
Contact tracing capacities such as but not limited to logbooks and NAPANAM QR Scanning Points shall be established. Monitoring teams from the Local Task Force with the Barangay Health and Emergency Response Teams (BHERTs) shall be deployed to ensure compliance to restrictions.
✅ 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙂𝘾𝙌?
1. Ensure observance of the Minimum Public Health Standards.
2. The movement of all persons shall be limited to accessing essential goods and services, and/or for work in the offices or industries permitted to operate.
3. Any person below fifteen (15) years old, those who are over sixty-five (65) years of age and above, those with immunodeficiency, comorbidity, or other health risks, and pregnant women shall be required to remain in their residences at all times.
4. Indoor and outdoor non-contact sports and other forms of exercise such as but not limited to, walking, jogging, running, biking, golf, swimming, tennis, badminton, equestrian, range shooting, and skateboarding are allowed. Provided, that the minimum public health standards such as the wearing of masks and the maintenance of social distancing protocols, and no sharing of equipment where applicable, are observed.
5. Mass gatherings shall be allowed provided that participants shall be limited to fifty percent (50%) of the seating or venue capacity.
