Gov. Rafy welcomes officers and staff from the Philippine Coast Guard, National Food Authority; Members of the CAMERATA College Choir of DMMMSU-SLUC in a courtesy call

Gov. Rafy Ortega-David welcomed two public servants in line agencies who were newly assigned and posted in La Union, thus becoming new partners for #LaUnionPROBINSIYAnihan.

In a series of courtesy calls on August 16, 2023, Gov. Rafy welcomed CG CAPT IVAN E ROLDAN, the new Commander of the Philippine Coast Guard District North Western Luzon (CGDNWLZN); and Mr. Chester Trinidad, the new La Union Information Center Manager of the Philippine Information Agency.

The officers were accompanied by their respective colleagues such as the Deputy Commander CG CDR BOBBY BEDA D MANGONON and other CGDNWLZN staff; and Regional Director Jennilyne C. Role and other PIA personnel.

Gov. Rafy also met with personnel from the National Food Authority Region 1 led by Branch Manager Frederick Dulay, who expressed full support to the initiatives of the Provincial Government of La Union on food security and self-sufficiency.

Completing the day of courtesy calls were the members of the CAMERATA College Choir of the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University South La Union Campus. The group, led by choir conductor Renan Flores, won gold in the Sing! Tarlac Sing! National Choral Festival and Competition held in Tarlac City on July 15-16, 2023.
