Gov. Pacoy Ortega: We Bring PGLU Services to You

LOVE IN A BUCKET. Gov. Pacoy spearheads the program I Love La Union, I Love My Barangay at the Municipal Covered Court of Pugo, La Union on August 23, 2018 by leading the distribution of buckets of goods to the residents of said municipality. The program also includes Medical and Dental Services, Wellness Massage, Legal Aid, Seeds and Seedling Distribution, and Supplemental Feeding Program.
The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), headed by Gov. Francisco Emmanuel "Pacoy" R. Ortega III, brought some of its services to the Municipality of Pugo, La Union during the I Love La Union, I Love My Barangay program on August 23, 2018 benefiting almost 3,000 residents.
In his speech, Gov. Pacoy said, “…adda kami ditoy ta kayat mi nga ited a personal ti serbisyo ti Provincial Government of La Union kadakayo apo.” He also talked about love as the foundation of all the services PGLU is providing to the people of La Union.
The services provided in the program were Medical and Dental Services, Legal Aid, Wellness Massage, Seeds and Seedling Distribution, Supplemental Feeding Program and Distribution of Hygiene Kits. The highlight of the program was the distribution of buckets of goods to the residents of said municipality led by Gov. Pacoy, Pugo Mayor Priscilla M. Martin, Provincial Population Officer Mila Gamboa, Sangguniang Bayan Members and Barangay Captains.
In her speech, Mayor Martin expressed her appreciation and gratitude to the PGLU on behalf of the Municipality of Pugo and said, “Charity is not about pity, it’s about love.” She emphasized that the services provided by the PGLU in the program are all rooted in love.
I Love La Union, I Love My Barangay is a program in partnership with ABONO Party-List and was previously called Operation Rang-ay iti Barangay launched during the administration of immediate past Gov. Manoling C. Ortega.
