Gawad Pilak Award from LBP Conferred to PGLU

Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III receives the Gawad Pilak award from Ms. Ma Belma T. Turla of Land Bank of the Philippines on August 14, 2019 at the Diego Silang Hall, Capitol Building, City of San Fernando, La Union. Said award was given to the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) for its contrbutions in the successful implementation of Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) programs and services.

Representing the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III received the Gawad Pilak award given to the PGLU by Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) on August 14, 2019 at the Diego Silang Hall, Capitol Building, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Said award was handed over by Head of Northern Luzon Branches Group, FVP Ma. Belma T. Turla and Department Manager Mr. Ferdinand C. Palaganas of Land Bank of the Philippines - La Union Lending Center and the different LBP branch managers of La Union.

LBP recognized PGLU as one of their loyal partners and clients which became an instrument in the successful implementation of the bank’s programs and services since 1983.

According to one of LBP’s representative, the PGLU has been a valued depositor of LBP for more than 35 and a borrower for 21 years, with satisfactory credit dealings. LBP also acknowledged the long years of PGLU’s strong partnership with them and its continuous support in the implementation of their programs especially in the countryside development.
