Flag Raising for the month of August Focusing on Gratitude and Celebrating Wins

Following the resounding success of the 1st State of the Province Address (SOPA) last August 7, 2023, Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David expressed her deepest gratitude to the PGLU workforce for a job well done and encouraged them to continue doing their excellent work in building a better future to the Kaprobinsiaan.

As part of the PGLU’s efforts to foster a motivated, purpose-oriented, and dedicated workforce, Gov. Rafy administered the mass oath-taking to 14 newly appointed employees.

From the Office of the Provincial Governor, newly appointed employees were Othman N. Soriano, Clerk II; Marco Polo V. Galvez, Clerk II; Pia Grace G. Obligado and John Richard F. Balbin, both as Laborer I.

From the La Union Provincial Tourism Office, Minoru C. Fujihara, Tourism Operations Officer II; Omme Atiyah B. Gonting, Tourism Operations Officer I; Jo Angela B. Villanueva, Administrative Aide IV; and Arvin Jay G. Ynot, Administrative Aide I.

From the Office of the Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator, Ronald P. Cabrillos, Project Development Officer III; Jerome C. Orate, Administrative Officer IV; Louis David Q. Garcia, Statistician II; and Jomarry G. Hipolito, Statistician I.

As Laborer I personnel from the Caba District Hospital and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, Mary Joy B. Valdez and Ronald E. Talagtag.
