ENRU inspires Church Leaders on Environmental Protection

Catbagan talks about environmental protection and conservation programs of the Provincial Government of La Union during the 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration at the Saint Christopher Academy in Bangar, La Union on February 20, 2020. Attendees were church leaders of Luna, Bangar, Balaoan, Santol, and Sudipen, teachers and students from the different catholic schools, and barangay leaders.

Catbagan gives a lecture on environmental protection and conservation programs of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) during the 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration of the Diocese of San Fernando de La Union at the Saint Christopher Academy in Bangar, La Union on February 20, 2020.
Church leaders of Luna, Bangar, Balaoan, Santol, and Sudipen, teachers and students from the different catholic schools, and barangay leaders were also present during the celebration.
EnP. Catbagan discussed the different programs of the PGLU on solid waste management, responsible sand and gravel quarrying, climate change adaptation and mitigation, water and air quality management.
This activity aims to promote environmental awareness to different sectors to conserve the natural resources in the province.
