EMPOWERED WOMEN FOR CRISIS RECOVERY AND TRANSFORMATION. The La Union Vibrant Women Inc., led by the its chairperson Vini Nola A. Ortega, donated a total amount of P2,891,200 to the Provincial Government of La Union, on October 12, 2020.
Received by Gov. Pacoy through a ceremonial turnover of check, the amount shall be utilized by the PGLU for the construction of the Sanctuary of Hope for Displaced and Disadvantaged Women and Children of La Union.
Gov. Pacoy also administered the oath of LUVWI City of San Fernando Chapter's new president, Ms. Raphaelle Veronica Ortega.
In his message, Gov. Pacoy expressed his sincerest gratitude to the LUVWI for representing the empowered women of La Union in contributing to the goal of building a #StrongerLaUnion, a province worth living in. Photos by Sonny Buenaventura, PIO.
