Dengue Awareness Campaign at BDH

4S AGAINST DENGUE. As part of the Dengue Awareness Month, Dr. Jennifer Gamiao, pediatrician, together with Dr. Zenserly Pagaduan, Chief of Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) shares the 4S approach against Zika, Dengue and Chikungunya, all of which are mosquito-borne diseases on June 3, 2019 in Bacnotan, La Union. This activity is done every Monday throughout the month at the out-patient department and the whole hospital through the intercom. The 4S against dengue means Search and destroy mosquito-breeding places; Self-protection measures against mosquito bite; Seek early consultation when experiencing fever for at least two days; and Say “Yes” to fogging if there is an impending outbreak.
