Data Utilization to Boost LU Employability

Public Employment Service Unit (PESU) Staff assist job applicants in answering the Online La Union Employment Service Questionnaire at Public Employment Service Unit Office. Data gathered from said survey will be used to design future employment assistance programs.

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the collaboration of Public Employment Service Unit and the Information and Communications Technology Unit launched a province-wide survey on employment.

With the La Union Employment Survey Questionnaire accessible online, survey participants in the Province of La Union can assist the PGLU in the data collection and in the formulation of future employment assistance programs and resilient strategies to find solutions that will contribute in the recovery of local economy, ensure safety of individuals and sustainability of businesses and jobs.

The survey gives PGLU a better understanding of the respondent’s employment status, qualifications and the industry they belong to. The PGLU assures that all responses disclosed or written in the questionnaire are kept confidential.

As of October 7, 2020, there were already 378 survey participants who participated in the conduct of the Online La Union Employment Survey.
