According to Dr. Aromin, the CDH Mobile Blood Donation Program is a quarterly activity of the hospital to augment blood supply in the province and create awareness of the importance of donating blood to save lives.

The blood supply relies on free and voluntary blood donations. Republic Act No. 7719, also known as the National Blood Services Act of 1994, promotes voluntary donation to provide sufficient supply of safe blood and to regulate blood banks. This act aims to inculcate public awareness that blood donation is a humanitarian act.
