CDH NURSES CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY

NURSES: A FORCE FOR CHANGE. The Caba District Hospital (CDH) Nursing Service conducts a team building activity as part of the celebration of International Nurses Day on May 19 and 20, 2019 at Villa Navarro Resort, Santiago Norte, Caba, La Union. CDH Nurses actively participated in various team building activities aimed to provide realistic experience that empower individuals to contribute to common goals and improve productivity and motivation.
In line with the celebration of International Nurses Day, Caba District Hospital (CDH) Nursing Service conducted a team building activity on May 19 and 20, 2019 at Villa Navarro Resort, Santiago Norte, Caba, La Union.
A total of 28 nurses actively participated in various team building activities which were facilitated by Nurse Cindy O. Tan and Francis P. Valdez.
Mr. Valdez emphasized that nurses are playing an important role in the society. He said that nurses are the backbone of the health care system and it is important for the nurses to unite to force a change and raise awareness of the important role nurses play in society.
The said event aimed to improve productivity and motivation among nurses. It also improves morale and leadership skills, finds the barriers that thwart creativity, improves processes and procedures, identifies a team’s strengths and weaknesses and improves the ability to solve problems in the nursing service.
International Nurses Day is celebrated every year all around the world on 12th of May to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Florence Nightingale and to mark the nurses contributions towards people’s health.
