CDH Disseminate Info on Childhood Cancer

In celebration of the International Childhood Cancer Day, Caba District Hospital (CDHβs) Nurse Alex Tiongson conducts information dissemination on childhood cancer, why and where children are diagnosed, possible treatment, palliative care and support for children, survivors and their families held at CDH Out-patient Department Waiting Area on February 16, 2021.
According to Philippine Statistics Authority, cancer is the third most common cause of death for both adults and children. The said activity aims to promote increased appreciation and deeper understanding of issues and challenges impacting childhood cancer and survivors to give more equitable and better access to treatment and care for children with cancer. International Childhood cancer Day is being celebrated annually every 15th day of February.
