CDH Celebrates 45th Founding Anniversary

Caba District Hospital conducts a motorcade along the National Highway of Caba, La Union showcasing the different health programs of the hospital during the kick off celebration of the hospital’s 45th Founding Anniversary on February 25, 2019.
Service with Compassion. Caba District Hospital (CDH’s) Chief of Hospital, Gretchen F. Aromin, MD, CFP MPA leads the distribution of gifts such as soap, multivitamins and groceries with medical consultation to the elderlies during the home visit community outreach program on February 25, 2019 at Brgy. Urayong and Wenceslao, Caba, La Union. The said activity was part of the 45th Founding Anniversary celebration of the hospital.
CABA, LA UNION- Caba District Hospital (CDH) celebrated its 45th Founding Anniversary with the theme: Fortified @ 45 on February 25 & 26, 2019 at CDH, Poblacion Sur, Caba, La Union with wide array of activities.
The said celebration was started with a motorcade with distribution of Information Education Campaign (IEC) materials along the national highway of Caba, La Union showcasing the different programs of the hospital which includes Senior Citizen Program, Person with Disability Program, Mobile Blood Donation Program, Tuberculosis Directly-Observed Treatment Short-course (TB DOTS) Program, Antirabies Program, Smoking Cessation Program, Adolescent Health Wellness Program, Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, Infection prevention and Control Program, Environmental Protection and Preservation Program and Staff-patient Interaction Program followed by a thanksgiving mass conducted by Rev. Garl Zaldy P. Patiag of St. John the Baptist Parish Church, Caba, La Union.
As a way of giving back to the community and true to CDH’s hospital brand “Service with Compassion” a community outreach program was conducted with a total of ten (10) bed ridden senior citizens from Barangay Urayong and Wenceslao, Caba, La Union visited in their home. Free medical check-up with free medicines and gift giving were done.
Other activities were Zumba- Run and Pammadayaw 2019 which took place on February 26, 2019.
Headed by its dynamic Chief of Hospital, Dr. Gretchen F. Aromin, CFP, MPA, CDH will continue to deliver the best quality healthcare and serve the people of the province of La union with compassion they greatly deserve.
