CDH: 23 SENIOR CITIZENS BENEFIT FROM FREE MEDICAL CHECK-UP

Caba District Hospital (CDH) headed by Chief of Hospital Dr. Gretchen F. Aromin conducted a Senior Citizen Medical Check-up for Barangays Bautista and Poblacion norte, Caba, La Union on June 25, 2019 at the CDH Conference Room, Poblacion Sur, Caba, La Union.

Caba District Hospital (CDH) headed by Chief of Hospital Dr. Gretchen F. Aromin conducted a Senior Citizen Medical Check-up for Barangays Bautista and Poblacion norte, Caba, La Union on June 25, 2019 at the CDH Conference Room, Poblacion Sur, Caba, La Union.

A total of 23 senior citizens were benefited in the said activity which included free consultation along with free laboratory examinations like Random Blood Sugar (RBS) and Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) testing, Hemoglobin determination, blood typing and urinalysis examination. The elderly also received free medicines from the Pharmacy as prescribed by their attending physician.

An Information Education Campaign was also conducted tackling PhilHealth benefits which was discussed by Jose D. Perez III of Philhealth Regional Office I while nutrition for the elderlies was tackled by CDH Dietician Vladimir Piñon.

Nurse Geraldine T. Posadas and the Senior Citizens Coordinator of Caba District Hospital expressed gratitude to the elderlies for joining the said activity. She said “The monthly Community Outreach Program for the Elderlies is paving the way to the fulfillment of CDH brand name focused on the Care of the elderly.”

The Senior Citizen Community Outreach Program is a monthly activity of CDH for the different barangays of Caba, La Union as a way of giving back to the community and achieving Gov. Pacoy’s vision of a Happy La Union, Healthy La Union by 2022.
