PGLU Employees Tech Skills Upgraded

Binas-o on September 13, 2019 at the 3rd Basement, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Building, City of San Fernando, La Union.

CDH COLLECTS 30 BLOOD UNITS

CDH Mobile Blood Donation Program is a quarterly activity of the hospital to augment blood supply in the province.

Orientation on Updated Regional Project Monitoring, Evaluation System Conducted

The Office of the Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (OPPDC) spearheads the conduct of a Briefing/Orientation on the Updated Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) Operational Guidelines on September 13, 2019 at People’s Hall, City of San Fernando, La Union. Said activity aimed to apprise the participants on the monitoring procedures and problem solving mechanisms as well as the procedure for measuring performance. The expected output of the activity is the formulated Local Government Unit Action Plan on strengthening the operationalization and localization of the RPMES.

Local Finance Committee spearheads Training on Hospital Management, Innovations

In line with the objective of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) to develop the five district hospitals as centers of HOPE towards a “Healthy La Union, Happy La Union by 2022,” the Local Finance Committee (LFC) of the PGLU in cooperation with the Provincial Health Office, spearheaded the conduct of Training on Hospital Management and Innovations on September 13, 2019 at Hotel Ariana, Bauang, La Union.

PGLU Hosts 2019 Regional Recognition and Awards Rites

Provincial Administrator Jennifer Joan O. Manguiat welcomes Civil Service Commission (CSC) Comm. Aileen Lourdes A. Lizada during the 2019 Regional Recognition and Awards Rites on September 12, 2019 at the Diego Silang Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. On behalf of Gov. Pacoy, Administrator Manguiat urged government employees to work together in pushing forward the brand of service that is marked with utmost excellent, proficiency and compassion. As a mark of gratitude, Comm. Lizada presented a Certificate of Appreciation and token to the Provincial Government of La Union.

BM Bacurnay Spearheads Ten Outstanding Public School Teachers Evaluation

SEARCH FOR TEN OUTSTANDING TEACHERS. Board Member Nancy M. Bacurnay, Chairperson of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee of Education and Culture, supervises the field evaluation at Don Eulogio De Guzman Memorial National High School in Bauang, La Union on September 12, 2019. The activity was part of the Teachers’ Month Celebration Program of the province where the Provincial Government of La Union partnered with the Department of Education for the search of the Ten Outstanding Public School Teachers in La Union. Chosen teachers will be honored in an awarding ceremony on October 18, 2019.

The Information and Communications Technology Unit (ICTU) staff, spearheaded by Mr. Gerry D. Binas-o, conducts a pilot testing of the newly developed iTrack System, a document tracking system, for the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) on September 11, 2019 at the Diego Silang Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator Michaela Louise T. Delfinado presents the Executive Agenda (EA) during the Governor’s Cabinet Meeting on September 10, 2019 at the Diego Silang Hall, Provincial Capitol Building, City of San Fernando, La Union. The EA is an essential component in the formulation of the Executive and Legislative Agenda of the province and consists of sectoral frameworks, results indicators and programs geared towards achieving the common goal and vision of the province to be the Heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025.
