More Jobs in LU Offered in La Union Jobs Fair 2019

Almost 600 jobseekers from the different Local Government Units in La Union and nearby provinces join the La Union Jobs Fair 2019 on September 25, 2019 at Father Burgos Gymnasium, Saint Louis College, Carlatan, City of San Fernando, La Union. Also present during the event where representatives from the different National Government Agencies who rendered counseling services to jobseekers. La Union Jobs Fair 2019 is one of the activities of the Provincial Government of La Union through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) relative to the Civil Service Month Celebration. The second leg of the activity was conducted on September 27, 2019 at the Jose D. Aspiras Civic Center, Agoo, La Union.

BDH Promotes Safe, Effective Use of Medicines

Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) pharmacists led by Ms. Maria Teresa Ramos educate patients about taking medications for their health and safety during the awareness lecture about rational drug use and generic drugs at the out-patient department of BDH, Bacnotan, La Union in observance of the Generics Awareness Month and World Pharmacists Day on September 25, 2019.

Delfinado presents the La Union Tourism and its Sustainable Tourism Medium Term Strategy 2019-2022 during the La Union Tourism Summit held on September 24, 2019 at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Convention Hall, City of San Fernando, La Union. The first of its kind in the province, the Summit was dedicated to the tourism industry key players and experts as they exchanged ideas around the next big trends driving the sector.

BDH Helps Fight Pregnancy, HIV, Suicide Among Teens

PREGNANCY, HIV, SUICIDE PREVENTION AMONG TEENS. Bacnotan District Hospital’s (BDH’s) Dr. Jennifer Gamiao and nurse Jay R Bautista discuss to Grades 10 to 12 students of Sto. Rosario National High School, San Juan, La Union the consequences of being pregnant and being a mom at a young age as they conduct a lecture on September 24, 2019. The activity is BDH’s contribution to the nationwide campaign to decrease pressing issues among teenagers.

PGLU ICOS trained on Internal Control Systems

The Internal Control Officers (ICOs) of the different departments of the Provincial Government of La Union participate in the Training on Internal Control Systems conducted by the Office of the Provincial Accountant on September 23, 2019 at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Lobby, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. The training aimed to develop professional and competent ICOs who adhere to high standards of integrity towards achieving the goals of the Provincial Government of La Union.

HEALTH, SAFETY, SANITATION. Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) Nurse Mr. Jeffrey Julian stresses to patients and their companions that clean hands is the single most important means of preventing the spread of infection, illness, and cross-contamination. His lecture was conducted at the out-patient department of BDH, Bacnotan, La Union on September 23, 2019 in observance of the Health, Safety and Sanitation Month.
