Ortega III, Vice Gov. Mario Eduardo C. Ortega and Sangguniang Panlalawigan on December 5, 2019 at the Diego Silang Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. Awardees were Manolo V. Odi, Jr.; Emijilen R. Noto; Shirley V. Puzon; Racquel C. Tamesa; Donna E. Castillo, Rowena D. Laplana; Vilma E. Quinoane; Dorotea R. Bulalayao; Roselin C. Oriente; and Rubenita S. Rillorta.

INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN DAY CELEBRATION 2019 (BATCH 2). The Provincial Government of La Union, through the Office of the Governor- Environment Unit, celebrate the second batch of International Mountain Day activity by conducting Environmental Awareness Campaign and distribution of Sanitation Kit to 109 pupils of Nayba Elementary School on December 11, 2019 at San Gabriel, La Union in collaboration with the Municipality of San Gabriel and Department of Education. Topic discussed were International Mountain Day; Forest Resources Management; Solid Waste Management; Coastal Resources Management; and Fresh Water Management.

Top Performing Municipalities in terms of Tax Collection receive recognition from the Provincial Government of La Union represented by Provincial Assessor Engr. Arnulfo A. Cacho and OIC-Provincial Treasurer Janet D. Molina during the La Union Association of Local Treasurers and Assessors Quarterly Meeting on December 5, 2019 at Oasis Country Resort. Among the top performers were Municipality of Bangar, Rosario and Balaoan, La Union.

The Information and Communications Technology headed by Mr. Gerry D. Binas-o presents the two awards received by the Provincial Government of La Union from the Digital Governance Award 2019 during their courtesy call to Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III on December 5, 2019 at the Office of the Provincial Governor, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. Awards presented were Best in eGov Customer Empowerment Award (second place) and Best in eGov Data-Driven Governance Award (second place).

Said meeting was attended by different Department and Unit Heads of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) where the Financial Accomplishments of the PGLU was discussed.
