CARING FOR THE YOUTH. In observance of the Linggo ng Kabataan, Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) nurses Mr. Jay R Bautista and Mr. Jeffrey Julian discuss pertinent issues involving the youth during a symposium among Grade 11 students at Bitalag Integrated School, Bitalag, Bacnotan, La Union on December 10, 2019. Issues concerning the youth such as stress management, mental health, sexually transmitted infections and human immunodeficiency virus transmission prevention were particularly tackled.

In line with Gov. Pacoy’s vision for La Union to be the Heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025 and to improve revenue collection, the staff of the Provincial Treasurer’s Office started distributing Tax Campaign Materials on December 9, 2019 in different municipalities of La Union to inform and remind the public to pay their Real Property Taxes on time to avoid penalties or pay in advance to avail discounts. Payment of Real Property Taxes starts on the first day of January of each year.
Gov. Pacoy and La Union Vibrant Women, Inc. Chairperson Vini Nola Ortega grace the Blessing and Inauguration of Bacnotan Farmers Agri-Tourism Center on December 6, 2019 at the Baroro, Bacnotan, La Union. The center is expected to contribute in achieving the Agri-Tourism vision of the province.
