To ensure that peace and order is maintained in the Province of La Union, Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III meets the Chiefs of Police in all Municipalities and City in La Union headed by La Union Police Provincial Office PCOL Jay Reyes Cumigad on January 22, 2020 at the Diego Silang Hall, City of San Fernando, La Union. Gov. Pacoy expressed his gratitude for their excellent service and PCOL Cumigad also expressed their commitment to continue what they’ve started.
The 22nd Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) presents SP Resolution No. 725-2019 to students of Regional Science High School Region I of Bangar, La Union, commending them for being the representatives of the country as well as the province and winning multiple medals when they joined various International Mathematics Competitions which were held in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan on 2019 during its 30th Regular Session on January 21, 2020.
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan, headed by Vice Gov. Mario Eduardo C. Ortega, likewise presented to the students and their coaches cheques as their financial incentive from the Provincial Government of La Union pursuant to Provincial Ordinance No. 072-2015 granting cash incentives to individuals, paired, or groups who excelled in sports, skills and academic competitions.
PSB 1ST REGULAR MEETING FOR 2020.The Provincial School Board (PSB) members convene for their 1st regular meeting for the year 2020 at Sea View, Diego Silang Hall, Provincial Capitol Building, City of San Fernando, La Union on January 21, 2020. Schools Division Superintendent Atty. Donato B. Balderas, Jr. of Department of Education Division La Union, PSB Co-Chairperson, presided the meeting. One of the agenda of the meeting was the 85% Special Education Fund Utilization which exceeded the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s target utilization rate of 80% for the Seal of Good Local Governance.

Bacnotan District Hospital personnel, headed by Chief Dr. Zenserly Pagaduan, clean the hospital and its premises to maintain a healthy surrounding and prevent the spread of infection and diseases in observance of Clean-Up Week on January 18, 2020. Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) personnel, headed by their Chief Dr. Zenserly Pagaduan, greet patient Cristina Abat who is celebrating her 94th birthday during her admission at the hospital on January 16, 2020.
