In line with Gov. Pacoy’s vision for La Union to be the Heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025 and to improve revenue collection, the staff of the Provincial Treasurer’s Office started distributing Tax Campaign Materials on December 9, 2019 in different municipalities of La Union to inform and remind the public to pay their Real Property Taxes on time to avoid penalties or pay in advance to avail discounts. Payment of Real Property Taxes starts on the first day of January of each year.

The Provincial Government of La Union, through the Office of the Governor- Environment Unit, celebrate the second batch of International Mountain Day activity by conducting Environmental Awareness Campaign and distribution of Sanitation Kit to 109 pupils of Nayba Elementary School on December 11, 2019 at San Gabriel, La Union in collaboration with the Municipality of San Gabriel and Department of Education. Topic discussed were International Mountain Day; Forest Resources Management; Solid Waste Management; Coastal Resources Management; and Fresh Water Management.
