The Joint Committees on Public Works and Utilities chaired by Hon. Maria Annabelle S. de Guzman; Transportation chaired by Hon. Frank O. Sibuma; and Laws, Rules and Privileges chaired by Hon. Jennifer C. Mosuela conduct their respective committee hearings on February 6, 2020 at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Building, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. Draft Ordinance No. 205-2019 entitled Early Warning Devices Ordinances of the Province of La Union and Draft Ordinance No. 206-2019 entitled Anti-Road Obstruction Ordinance of the Province of La Union were discussed and reviewed during the said committee hearing and are set for public hearing on the last week of February.

LUMC OB Ward Patients Receive Gifts

Department of OB-Gyne Head Dr. Bernadette M. The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) Committee on Agriculture and Aquatic Resources tackles the drafting of Marine Protected Area Ordinance of the Province of La Union during the Joint Committee Hearings/Meetings on February 3, 2020 at the 3rd Basement, SP Building, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. Representatives from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Regional Office I, Department of Environment and Natural Resources Regional Office I, Environment and Natural Resources Unit of the province, Environment and Natural Resources Office of the City of San Fernando, and representatives from several Local Government Units of La Union were present and will be part of the Technical Working Group.

Burgos, Naguilian Update Enhance Real Property Taxation System

La Union Provincial Assessor’s Office (OPAss) –Information Technology and Land Patent Unit head June Ramos and staff update the Enhance Real Property Taxation System (ERPTS) in the Municipalities of Burgos and Naguilian as part of their scheduled assistance to all municipalities in the province on February 3, 2020. ERPTS is a database system currently used by the OPAss and the 19 Municipal Assessors to process transactions and deliver real-time data to cut down processing time and generate ready format reports.
