The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of La Union conducts 11 Joint Committee Hearings/Meetings on February 17, 2020 at the Conference Room, SP Building, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Included in the topics discussed was a letter from the governor requesting the SP for a resolution authorizing him to enter a Memorandum of Agreement in behalf of the Provincial Government of La Union with Landbank – Bauang Branch in relation to the new livelihood loan facility or the electronic salary loan system. Representatives from the Office of the Provincial Treasurer and Atty. Jessamine C. Garcinez of Provincial Legal Office were invited as Resource Speakers during the said hearing.

The Nursing Service Department, Infection Control Committee and Red Orchid Committee of La Union Medical Center join forces as they conduct an outreach program for the pupils from Day Care to Grade 2 of Balawarte Elementary School and Day Care Center on February 14, 2020. The program featured “Sagip Ribrib ken Binukbok,” which included a lecture on dental health care fluoride application, and distribution of toothpastes, toothbrushes and food supplements. Sibuma leads the formulation of Medium-Term Provincial Youth Development Plan (PYDP) on February 12-13, 2020 at Hotel Ariana Paringao, Bauang, La Union. The PYDP aims to maximize the participation of the youth in nation-building as responsible and proactive citizens.
