SP Committee: “Road Safety is Priority”

To ensure the safety and convenience of the traveling public and assess the status of road obstructions and ensure compliance with road clearing directives and ordinances, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) Committee on Public Works and Utilities of the Provincial Government of La Union joined the ocular inspection in aid of legislation on national roads within the jurisdiction of the Province of La Union on August 22, 2024.

PGLU Conducts Mobile Accreditation Caravan, Assists 160 Establishments

In a concerted effort to enhance the capacity and compliance of tourism stakeholders to the Department of Tourism (DOT) standards, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) headed by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David, through the La Union Provincial Tourism Office, successfully conducted a Mobile Accreditation Caravan across the province’s Agri-Tourism Circuits, which accredited a total of 160 tourism establishments from August 12 to 19, 2024.

PGLU Empowers Youth in AGRI-LA UNAY for eLyU Young Agripreneurs

As part of the 2024 Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) launched the first Agri-La Unay for eLyU Young Agriprenuers on August 13 and 15, 2024, at the Speaker Pro-Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Convention Center, Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union. The event aimed to encourage youth sectors to actively engage in and support the agricultural and entrepreneurial fields, aligning with the PGLU’s Vision, “La Union, the Heart of Agritourism in Northern Luzon by 2025.”
