LU hosts NYC’s Youth Constituency Building for Empowered Local Youth Development Council

The Provincial Government of La Union, through the Provincial Youth Development Program under the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, in partnership with the the National Youth Commission (NYC), organized the “Youth Constituency Building: Championing SK Advocacy, where 80 youth advocates from Regions I, II, III, IV-A, IV-B, V, NCR, and CAR participated in. Participants were composed of selected Local Youth Development Council members, Sangguniang Kabataan Officials, and Local Youth Development Officers.

PGLU-PHO Boosts Community Health Activities with Week-Long Initiatives for KaLUsugan Caravan

In alignment with Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David’s call for Universal Access to basic needs in the province, the Provincial Health Office (PHO) conducted a series of healthcare activities around La Union this past week. Said activities are in view of PHO’s KaLUsugan Caravan, which aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services to kaPROBINSYAnihan, especially those in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas and Barangays in La Union.

3rd LUAYTC Empowers Youth Heritage Ambassadors, Preserves La Union Cultural Legacy

In observance of the annual celebration of Heritage Month, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the La Union Provincial Tourism Office (LUPTO) – Culture and the Arts Unit, successfully concluded the 3rd La Union Annual Youth Taoid Camp (LUAYTC) on May 20-24, 2024 at the J&V Hotel and Resort, Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union.
