The Municipal Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Bacnotan, La Union in collaboration with the Provincial PESO successfully conducted a two-day Jobs Fair on December 22-23, 2021 at PESO Bacnotan, Legislative Building, Bacnotan, La Union.

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Ilocos’ famed revolution hero Diego Silang, a simultaneous offering of wreath was held at Heroes Park in the City of San Fernando, La Union and Town Plaza of Municipality of Caba, La Union on December 16, 2021.

Two months after the contest launch, 16 colorful artworks of participating Local Government Units (LGUs) for the MARIS ITI AGLAWLaU: Pride of Place Mural Painting Competition were judged and recognized. Led by the La Union Provincial Tourism Office (LUPTO) – Culture and Arts Section (CAS), the competition forms part of Sining Galing for Recovery and Healing program of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) which aims to continue, preserve, and support the cultural and artistic expressions of the local arts community towards #CreativeRecovery.

To honor and remember those who lost their lives in these ongoing crises, the Association of Tourism Industries and Networks in La Union (ATIN LU) in partnership with the Provincial Government of La Union, City Government of San Fernando, and Department of Tourism Region 1, kicks off its Pasko sa Batis sa Bakawan on December 11, 2021, in Barangay Carlatan, City of San Fernando, La Union as a part of the #PaskoSaKapitolyo2021 Celebration.

In support to the #KalikasanNaman Campaign, the Provincial Government of La Union’s (PGLU) forefront program in fostering ecological integrity, and clean and healthy environment, the Provincial Government-Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) strengthened its programs and initiatives on environmental advocacies through a two-day Environmental Awareness Activity held on December 9-10, 2021.

The 22nd Sangguniang Panlalawigan presented a Resolution of Gratitude, authored by Board Member Nancy Corazon M. Bacurnay to the management of CSI Mall for annually hosting and supporting the various travel and trade fairs and other activities of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU). The Resolution was received by its CSI President Ms. Belen Fernandez during the opening ceremony of the 20th La Union’s Fairest on December 9, 2021 at the CSI Mall, City of San Fernando, La Union.
