The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) officially opens celebration of the 172nd La Union Foundation Anniversary (LUFA) with the theme “LA UNION LA UNAY: Naggapu Iti Ayat, Gapu Iti Ayat” through a ribbon cutting ceremony officially inaugurating the Heroes Park Stairway Mural Painting today, February 21, 2022 at the Heroes Park, Guerrero Road, City of San Fernando, La Union.

As a part of the 172nd Foundation Anniversary of the Province of La Union , the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology – Regional Office I (DICT-RO1) conducted an ICT Proficiency Diagnostic Exam for Computer Programming on February 21, 2022 held at the La Union Provincial Library LUPAC Building, City of San Fernando, La Union.

The Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus (DMMMSU-MLUC) together with the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO) spearheaded the DMMMSU Trabaho Center Virtual Orientation to Employers. The activity was organized by DMMMSU-MLUC Office of the Student Affair Services Head, Dr. Bernardo D. Lamadrid; Career and Placement Service In-charge Ms. Alicia A. Cadwising with the Provincial Public Employment Service Office represented by Mr. Rowell B. Timoteo, Labor & Employment Officer II.

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) and the Municipal Government of Burgos, La Union joined the nation in remembering the 150th martyrdom anniversary of Frs. Jose Burgos, Mariano Gomes, and Jacinto Zamora known as the GOMBURZA, through a wreath laying ceremony in front of Burgos Town Hall, today February 17, 2022.

To achieve a majority of fully vaccinated Filipinos, Bacnotan District Hospital (BCDH), headed by Dr. Zenserly D. Pagaduan, started its Pediatric Vaccination for kids aged 5-11 on February 16, 2022.
