In observance of the International Day of the Forest which is celebrated every March 21 of the year, the Provincial Government – Environment and Natural Resources Office together with the Environmental Management Coordinators (EMCs) of La Union conducted the 1st Quarter EMC Meeting Cum Training” activity on March 21, 2022 at Damortis Provincial Nursery, Sto. Tomas, La Union. Celebrated with the theme “Forests and Sustainable Production and Consumption”, IDF aims to increase awareness about how forests play in sustaining lives on earth.

As part of the 172nd Founding Anniversary of La Union, the Local Economic Enterprise and Investment Promotions Unit (LEEIPU) and Information Communications and Technology Unit (ICTU) partnered in providing the Electronic Business Permits and Licensing System (e-BPLS) webinar to component Local Government Units (LGUs) of the province.

The Namacpacan Streetdancers representing the Municipality of Luna, La Union was hailed as First Runner-up in the recently concluded Festival Dance Category of the 27th Panagbenga Festival Dance Competition on March 20, 2022 at the Baguio City.

For this year, the Provincial Government of La Union – Environment and Natural Resources Office’s (PG-ENRO) Waste Management Awareness Campaign focuses on the concepts of Total Solid Waste Management Solutions and Prevention, Reduction, and Management of Marine Litter, hence, an online Waste Management Awareness Campaign was conducted last March 18, 2022 attended by Environment and Natural Resources Officers (ENRO) of the component Local Government Units (LGUs).

This 2022, Naguilian District Hospital (NDH) marks their 50th Anniversary and to celebrate this milestone a leadership training and team building activity was conducted on March 18, 2022 at the conference hall of the hospital.

(BPBH) Entrepreneurship Traning and Orientation Seminar on March 18 and 28, 2022 at 4th Floor, La Union Provincial Administrative and Commercial Building, Quezon Avenue, City of San Fernando, La Union.
