La Union Implements Stricter Quarry Monitoring
The Quarry Monitoring Team of the Provincial Government of La Union conducted a night quarry checkpoint on March 24, 2022 at the Rosario, La Union. Eleven (11) hauling trucks loaded with aggregates where checked. Four (4) of these trucks were found non-compliant of the province’s ordinance relative to quarrying and shall be fined accordingly.
