In celebration of National History Month, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) took center stage in commemorating the 126th Anniversary of the 1898 Bacoor Assembly on August 1, 2024, at the historic Bahay na Tisa (Cuenca Ancestral House) in Bacoor City, Cavite.
The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) successfully conducted today, July 31, 2024, its clearing operations along the stretch of San Fernando-Bagulin Road, which had been severely impacted by onslaught of Typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon in the past week.
A price freeze on Basic Necessities and Prime Commodities (BNPCs), selected essential medicines, basic processed products, agricultural produce, livestock and fisheries is now in effect in the Province of La Union until September 28, 2024, as the La Union Price Coordinating Council (LUPCC) has been activated following the declaration of State of Calamity through Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 1230-2024 due to the effects of the southwest monsoon and Typhoon Carina.
