𝗣𝗚𝗟𝗨-𝗣𝗛𝗢 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹

In observance of the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day held every third Sunday of May, which commemorates the lives of those who have died due to AIDS-related complications, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) reaffirmed its commitment to address the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) epidemic in the province and break the stigma surrounding it through facilitating a Community Based HIV Screening (CBS) Training among Department of Education (DepEd) personnel in La Union.

After completing the provincial canvassing, local officials in the Province of La Union including District Representatives pledge for outstanding service as they were officially proclaimed on May 10, 2022 at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Building, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.

𝗟𝗨 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗩𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗘𝗦

𝗟𝗨 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗩𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗘𝗦. Commission on Elections (COMELEC) La Union Provincial Election Supervisor and Provincial Board of Canvassers (PBOC) Chairperson Atty. Marino V. Salas calls for the resumption of the Provincial Canvassing at 8AM today, May 10, 2022 at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Building, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. Atty. Bonifacio B. Mangibin and Atty. Donato Balderas are also present being the Vice Chairperson and Secretary of the PBOC respectively. The PBOC transmits election returns from the 19 Municipal and one City Board of Canvassers in the Province to the National Board of Canvassers. As of writing, 99.9% of the Electoral Returns in La Union has been received and transmitted by the PBOC.
