In said program, around 3,000 residents were benefited with medical and dental assistance, feeding program, rabies vaccinations and free massage.

Gov. Francisco Emmanuel “Pacoy” R. Ortega III shows the plaque for La Union’s nomination as one of the Outstanding Provinces for the Search for Rice Achievers Awards CY 2017 during the Regular Cabinet Meeting on June 5, 2018 at the Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. The said plaque is given by the Department of Agriculture as a recognition to provinces that made significant contribution to the rice industry.
