The City Government of Bayawan, Negros Oriental visited the Provincial Government of La Union for a benchmarking session on March 9, 2023 to learn from the Province’s Multi-Sectoral Governance Council (MSGC) and Performance Governance System (PGS) best practices aligned to its vision to become “The Heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025.”

Santiago, presented the United States Agency for International Development – Investing in Sustainability and Partnerships for Inclusive Growth and Regenerative Ecosystems (USAID –INSPIRE) Project entitled, “Strengthening Good Governance and Multi-stakeholder Collaboration in the West Philippine Sea” during the 36th Regular Session of the 23rd Sangguniang Panlalawigan on March 7, 2023 at the SP Session Hall.
Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David extended her warm appreciation to the entire Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) workforce for their active participation and efforts in the conduct of events for the #AyatFest – the 173rd Founding Anniversary of the province. Speaking during the 1st Monday Flag Raising Program on March 6, 2023, Gov. Rafy said that the successful run of activities will not be possible without the help and assistance of every PGLU offices and its employees.
Featuring the shooting skills of Uniformed Personnel and Shooting Enthusiasts from the province and all over the country, the Provincial Government of La Union initiated the very first Governor’s Cup: Shoot Fest as part of the Ayat Festival 2023 in celebration of La Union’s 173rd Founding Anniversary. It is a shoot for a cause that ran from March 3-5, 2023 at Naguituban, San Juan, La Union.
Local talents in La Union took the center stage as seven local bands competed in the ELYU Rockz Battle of the Bands at Poro Point, Baywalk, City of San Fernando, La Union on March 4, 2023.
