The Provincial Government of La Union, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of La Union Inc., and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry successfully hosted the 32nd North Luzon Area Business Conference (NLABC) on July 20-21, 2023. The event which took place at Thunderbird Resorts and Casino City of San Fernando, La Union is a meaningful gathering of key national and local government officials, and prominent business leaders in Northern Luzon.

In an effort to professionalize the procurement organization of the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), employees from various offices and district hospitals recently participated in a 2-day workshop on procurement planning and budgeting. The workshop, held on July 13-14, 2023, took place at the PDRRMO Training Hall in Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union.
Chinese Consul & Head of Post Ren Faqiang and Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David recently engaged in productive discussions aimed at fostering friendly exchanges and enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation between China and the province of La Union.
