SAFE MOTHERHOOD. Pregnant mommies troop to the Caba District Hospital (CDH) Conference Hall to avail of different pre-natal services during the Buntis Congress in CDH, Poblacion Sur, Caba, La Union on April 30, 2019. 79 pregnant women including teen moms from the municipalities of Caba and Aringay, La Union joined the said event to keep them abreast on safe motherhood, family planning and nutrition in pregnancy both for themselves and their babies on their gestation period and after delivery. The activity was led by the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the Provincial Health Office (PHO) and in partnership with Caba District Hospital (CDH) and Ilocos Training Regional and Medical Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Department.

PESO Bagulin Trained for Manpower Registry System
The La Union Public Employment Service Office (PESO) provides technical assistance to PESO – Bagulin in the implementation of Manpower Registry System (MRS) on April 26, 2019. The MRS is a joint project of PESO and the Information and Communication Technology Unit of the Provincial Government of La Union. The installation of MRS aims to create a continuous database of manpower supply in the different Local Government Units (LGUs) in the province of La Union. As of April 2019, Manpower Registry System were already installed to 16 LGU PESOs in La Union.
