PGLU CONDUCTS PRIORITIZATION FOR TOURISM SITE DEVELOPMENT

Provincial Information Officer (Tourism Officer Designate) Mr. Adamor L. Dagang presents the Project D.R.E.A.M.S. (Destinations, Restorations, Eco-Sustainability, Agri-tourism, Medical Assistance, Security and Accessibility) to the members of the Initiative Team on Provincial Tourism Site Development Program during the Consultation Meeting on the Prioritization for Tourism Site Development on May 17, 2019 at the Tourism Operations Meeting Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union. The activity was in line with the implementation of the provincial priorities, thrusts, programs and projects under the administration of Gov. Pacoy as part of the 2019-2022 La Union Medium-Term Tourism Strategy.

TOURISTS DONATE BLOOD

TOURISTS AS BLOOD DONORS. A tourist from Lucena City, Quezon Province, Mr. Jose Ernest Guinauli, donates his blood during the 13th Mass Blood Donation activity at Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) on May 17, 2019. Said project which was done in partnership with the National Voluntary Blood Services Program (NVBSP) – Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center (ITRMC) yielded a total of 41 blood units.

BDH Conducts 4th Bacnotan People’s Caravan

“DUR-AS” HEALTH PARTNER. In observance of the incoming Barrio Communities Week, Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) and the Local Government of Bacnotan team-up on health promotion and consultation during the 4th Bacnotan People’s Caravan for Development Action Project dubbed as “Dur-as ti Barangay Umay Mi Idar-ay” in the 47 barangays of the municipality. BDH Surprises Patient on her Birthday

Personnel of Bacnotan District Hospital (BDH) greets a sick pediatric patient who celebrates her birthday on May 16, 2019. To uplift the spirits of patients during their natal day, BDH personnel usually do this surprise greeting and provide simple tokens to patients who coincidentally spend their birthdays while admitted at the hospital.

The main goal of the activity is to guarantee uninterrupted health service delivery during emergencies and disasters, avert preventable morbidities and mortalities, and to ensure that post disaster disease outbreaks do not occur.
