Pacoy joins Kapihan sa Ilocos Press Conference spearheaded by the Philippine Information Agency – Regional Office 1 before the Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict First Quarter Meeting on March 4, 2020 at the Vista La Vita, Canaoay, City of San Fernando, La Union. Ortega III joins the third batch of participants of the Strategic Targeting Workshop on March 4, 2020 at Dencio’s Bar and Grill, City of San Fernando, La Union. Participating offices were the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Local Economic Enterprise and Investment Promotions Unit, and Public Employment Service Office.

Global Ambassador for Smile Train Catriona Gray Donates P100,000 to the Charity

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray donates P100,000 to Smile Train, an international children’s charity that provides free surgery on cleft lip and palate, during the Aldaw ti Kaprobinsiaan on March 1, 2020 at the La Union Provincial Capitol.

Smile Train was one of the service providers during the Aldaw ti Kaprobinsiaan, an outreach program led by the Provincial Government of La Union in celebration of the province’s 170th Founding Anniversary. Around 30 children with cleft lip/palate were assessed by the Smile Train during the day. They will undergo further tests until their eventual surgery. Catriona Gray is the Global Ambassador for Smile Train.

Catriona was fascinated at how the province perfectly preserved this loom-weaving tradition, and continues to bring ‘abel’ in the international market.
