LU Ensures Marine Resources Preservation

Our environmental efforts to manage and preserve our natural resources in La Union dove deeper through the sea as our Provincial Government of La Union SCUBA Diving Team conducted an initial underwater assessment in the Municipality of Luna, La Union on August 27 and 30, 2021.

In support to the Online Weekend Market dubbed as SALU-SALO: Saluad La Union para Serbisio, Agri-Turismo, Lako ken Opurtunidad, the Provincial Government – Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) conducted a Community PanTree Program on August 28, 2021 for the North La Union Agri-Tourism Circuit (Balaoan, Luna, Bangar, Santol and Sudipen).

PGLU PRESERVES LA UNION HISTORY THROUGH SARIRIT QUIZ

Student representatives from 20 elementary school districts, 23 high school clusters and 12 Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation offices across the Province of La Union showcased their wits on local and national history during the SARIRIT: La Union History Quiz held through hybrid events on August 26 – 27, 2021.

LU MSMEs Undergo Capacity Training

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the Local Economic Enterprise and Investment Promotions Unit (LEEIPU) is committed to bolster economic activities through capacitating the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in their recovery from the effects of the CoViD-19 pandemic by conducting a Business Continuity Training done via video conference on August 26, 2021.

PGLU LEADS WASTE ANALYSIS, CHARACTERIZATION STUDY TRAINING

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology – Industrial Technology Development Institute (DOST-ITDI) conducts training on Waste Analysis and Characterization Study (WACS) on August 24 and 26 via videoconferencing.
