With an aim to amplify and develop the education system in the province, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee on Education, Culture and Arts chaired by Hon. Cynthia Angelica M. Bacurnay conducted a legislative consultation cum on-boarding meeting with its counterpart chairpersons on committee on education of the municipal councils of each component LGUs on September 02, 2022 at the Provincial Legislative Building and Session Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
In line with the vision of the Province to become the Heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) kick started the formulation of the Executive-Legislative Agenda (ELA) for CY 2023-2025 through the conduct of the Part 1 of the ELA Process, which is the Kick-off cum Partnership for Goals on September 01, 2022 via zoom. The crafting of the said ordinance is in response to the issue of Mr. John Rosaldo that circulated on social media after he and some of his batchmates were disallowed to march on stage due to unprocessed and unpaid graduation fees, which led to a traumatic experience for Mr. Rosaldo and his family.
