The Provincial Government – Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) presented to Governor Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David the study on the proposed establishment of bulk water facility in the Province of La Union on September 8, 2022 at the Office of the Governor, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
In line with the P.U.S.O. Agenda of Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David, Dr. Rex Victor Cruz from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, College of Forestry and Natural Resources presented and discussed the Institutionalization of Guidelines on Watershed Integrated Area Land Use Planning towards Resiliency (WILUP) during the WILUP Meeting held last September 07, 2022 at Old SP Building Conference Room.
With the aim to express their intention to work hand in hand with the City Government in the resolution of terminal and transportation issues in the City of San Fernando raised by commuters in the province of La Union, Board Members Joy R. Ortega and Geraldine R. Ortega along with Atty. Mark Espenilla and Atty. Annabel Nullar of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) initiated a visit to the office of San Fernando City Mayor Dong Gualberto on September 7, 2022 at the City Hall of San Fernando, La Union to discuss possible solutions that all parties could contribute.
After bringing pride and honor to the whole province, two teams of young professional athletes were accorded with a commendation by the Hon. Vice-Governor Eduardo Mario C. Ortega and all the Honorable Board Members during the Regular Session of the 23rd Sangguniang Panlalawigan at the Legislative Building, Provincial Capitol on September 6, 2022.

With an aim to amplify and develop the education system in the province, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee on Education, Culture and Arts chaired by Hon. Cynthia Angelica M. Bacurnay conducted a legislative consultation cum on-boarding meeting with its counterpart chairpersons on committee on education of the municipal councils of each component LGUs on September 02, 2022 at the Provincial Legislative Building and Session Hall, Provincial Capitol, City of San Fernando, La Union.
In line with the vision of the Province to become the Heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2025, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) kick started the formulation of the Executive-Legislative Agenda (ELA) for CY 2023-2025 through the conduct of the Part 1 of the ELA Process, which is the Kick-off cum Partnership for Goals on September 01, 2022 via zoom. The activity was actively participated by the elected provincial officials, PGLU department heads, representatives from the National Government Agencies as well as sectoral leaders and representatives of Civil Society Organizations to ensure that optimal plans are developed and implemented for the improvement of the quality of life of our kaprobinsiaans.
