As part of the celebration of Environmental Awareness Month, Climate Change Consciousness Week, and Clean Air Month, the Provincial Government of La Union, through its Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) conducted the second Environmental Summit on Nov 25, 2022 at Ynad’s Resort in San Fernando City, La Union. To accommodate more audience, a live coverage of the event was also streamed via Provincial Government of La Union Facebook Page.

𝗣𝗚𝗟𝗨, 𝗡𝗖𝗖𝗔 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗣𝗛𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗠𝗔𝗣 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧

In partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the La Union Provincial Tourism Office – Culture and the Arts Unit held the first 2 Phases of its Cultural Mapping Project through a Scoping and Negotiation and Social Preparation Meeting on November 21, 2022 at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Open University System Multi-Purpose Hall, Catbangen, City of San Fernando, La Union.

𝗟𝗨 𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧-𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛 𝗟𝗨𝗭𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗟 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗥; 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗗

To further support the growth of domestic tourism with the revival of the holiday economics in the country, the Provincial Government of La Union took part in the first-ever North Luzon Travel Fair (1NLTF) on November 18 – 20, 2022 at the SMX Convention Center, Clark Freeport, Angeles, Pampanga.

𝗣𝗚𝗟𝗨 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗠 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 𝗢𝗡 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘

For its valuable contribution to sustainable urban tourism development, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) was awarded by the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) – Dr. Andrew L. Tan (ALT) Center for Tourism and Megaworld Foundation, Inc. as one of the recipients of the first Philippine Tourism Excellence Awards for the category Good Local Governance on November 18, 2022 at Sheraton Manila Hotel, Newport World Resorts.

𝗣𝗚𝗟𝗨 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧-𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣

To support the diverse and sustainable heritage-centered Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs) of the province in the spirit of #LaUnionPROBINSYAnihan from 2022 and beyond, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) through the La Union Provincial Tourism Office – Culture and the Arts Unit organized the first-ever La Union Annual Youth Taoid Camp (LUAYTC) on November 16 – 18, 2022 at Ynad’s Place Hotel and Resort, Barangay Namtutan, City of San Fernando, La Union.

𝗣𝗚𝗟𝗨 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗽𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲

With the aim to maintain and ensure the peace and order in the province, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) Security Services Personnel are undergone series of rigorous training from September to November 2022. This is following the directive of the honorable governor Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David to provide the highest quality of service to our Kaprobinsiaan as she emphasized her call for #LaUnionKaprobinsyanihan.
