The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), in partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DA-RFO1), concluded the Provincial Rice Technology Forum and Culminating activity of the Hybrid Rice Challenge for Dry Season 2024-2025 on March 11, 2025 at Brgy. Taberna, Bauang, La Union, with more than 140 participants.

The much-anticipated Region I Athletic Association (R1AA) Meet 2025 opens at the Bacnotan Municipal Gymnasium, Bacnotan La Union on March 11, 2025 with the theme “Sports and BEEyond: One Region, One Dream, One Victory. Handa. Hataw. Husay.” Hosted by the Municipality of Bacnotan, different R1AA sports competitions are set to be conducted in the municipality and other parts of the province until March 15, 2025.
The Province of La Union was recognized as the Local Government Unit (LGU) with the Highest Rate of Sustainable Subprojects under the Investments for Rural Enterprises and Agricultural and Fisheries Productivity (I-REAP) component of the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP). The award was given during the North Luzon General Assembly, held on March 6, 2025 at Subic Bay, Zambales, in celebration of PRDP’s 10th anniversary.
In honor of Women’s Month and Naguilian District Hospital’s (NDH) 53rd Anniversary, the Healthy Lifestyle Committee of NDH organized a special Zumba dance exercise on March 7, 2025, at the NDH Conference Room. It aimed to promote health, wellness, and fitness among the employees, encouraging everyone to prioritize their well-being in a fun and engaging way.
