In pursuant to the Provincial Ordinance No. 034-2012, “An Act Declaring and Fixing the First Monday of June Every Year as the Arbor Day or Tree-Planting Day in La Union,” and in time for the celebration of World Environment Day, a total of 87 volunteers took part in planting 500 fruit-bearing tree seedlings on June 5, 2023 at Sitio Captaoan, San Gabriel, La Union.

Moving towards the end of the first half of the year, Gov.
