Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David brought to international stage how the province expands opportunities and champions the role of the youth in building a better La Union as she served as a Keynote Speaker in the Asia Pacific Youth Exchange (APYE) High Level Forum on August 3, 2023 at Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
During the onslaught of Super Typhoon Egay in the province earlier this month, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) took immediate action to provide relief to 1,000 affected kaprobinsiaan fisherfolks and their families.
On Tuesday, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of La Union approved the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Urban Youth Academy (UYA) and granted the Honorable Governor Raphaelle Veronica Rafy Ortega David the authority to enter and sign the said documents during the 57th Regular Session of the 23rd Sangguniang Panlalawigan on August 1, 2023.
