Anchored on the national government’s agenda on providing clean restrooms across the country and with the aim to upgrade the basic services being delivered by the province of La Union to locals and tourists, ordinance 422-2023 dubbed as “The Clean Public Toilet Ordinance of 2023” is now approved by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David and is now ready for implementation.

La Union PDLs undergo Reintegration Training Program

With a strong commitment to provide Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) with essential skills and equal opportunities for personal growth, the La Union Provincial Jail collaborated with Rotary Club of Metro San Fernando La Union, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAg), and the Philippine National Police (PNP) San Fernando City to conduct a Siomai, Hamburger, and Dishwashing Liquid Soap Making Livelihood Program for PDLs in La Union on August 31, 2023.
