In an effort to address the persistent food price hike, and ensure food security in the province, the Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU), in collaboration with the regional and provincial-line offices of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Agriculture (DA), National Food Authority (NFA), Department of Social Welfare and Development DSWD), and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), launched the localized “Kadiwa ng Pangulo” (KNP) sa La Union on September 18, 2023 at Old Boy Scout of the Philippines Parking Grounds in Brgy.
