PGLU Organizes LGU GHG Workshop for Climate Change Mitigation

To capacitate the Province of La Union regarding its greenhouse gas emissions, the Provincial Government of La Union – Environment and Natural Resources Office conducted a two-day Community-Level Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Inventory Inception Workshop on April 1-2, 2024 at the La Union Peace and Order and Safety-Emergency Operations Center, Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union.

60+ Minutes Pause for #KalikasanNaman: La Union Partakes in #EarthHour2024

A total of 4,230 individuals showed #LaUnionPROBINSYAnihan by attending the #EarthHour2024 program prepared by the Provincial Government of La Union under the Leadership of Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David in partnership with the Municipality of Luna led by Mayor Gary N. Pinzon on March 23, 2024 at the Shrine of Our Lady of Namacpacan, Luna, La Union. Simultaneous to this, all La Union households and offices were encouraged to voluntarily take part in switching off non-essential energy-consuming appliances and lights from 8:30 to 9:00 in the evening.

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David implements the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in Health (DRRM-H) Program in the Province of La Union by banking on capacitation as one of the pillars of developing Health Resilience of the community.
